Why should we worship God? After all, should just a Thank you enough? I mean I say thank you to my parents who do nice things to me. Sounds kind of arrogant to worship someone. I mean here is this guy getting a massive ego trip from all of these people worshiping him. When I do nice things to someone, a simple thank you is enough. Anything more is obscene.

How do couples find balance in their interp of God’s will in relation to their spouse’s convictions? If God wants them to become missionaries will both feel called? If only 1 spouse feels called but not the other then is 1 not hearing God accurately, or would God really ask something different of each to the point of family separation? Why do those of us who follow Christ tolerate the evil that allows children to starve, be abused, exploited, killed? I wonder sometimes why God allow it but if we are his hands and feet on earth why aren’t we outraged and persecuting the people victimizing our children?

What exactly is the purpose of prayer: is it to commune with God and develop our relationship with him, or is it to present our requests to him? Because if we really can change our circumstances with our prayers, what does that say about God’s power and our ability to influence him? And when my non-Christian friends ask me why/how God decides to answer some prayers but not others, what should I tell them?

God, is Horus from the old Egyptian “Book of the Dead” Jesus’ brother? Why were they born on the same day?
Why were they both crucified and resurrected? Why both were sons of a virgin? The similarities go on and on. So are Jesus and Horus brothers in different times?
So is God gonna answer all that?

Hi dear God, how can you handle all this people that say so much mistaken things about you? How can you handle people that go to churches and assume they are saved? You might be laughing of all that right right right?

Our friends 5 year old has a brain tumor. My sibling died completely unexpectedly in an accident. Why? Why didn’t God step in for those people? It is so hard to love this God….and if I do and believe, that also may mean that according to my beliefs, my sister went to hell. Its just so hard.

Why does God create gay people but then allow so many “religious” folks to discriminate against them and deny them rights? It seems the “church” sure likes to vilify this group of people to the point that it actually turns people (straight and gay) away from Christ.

If God thinks homosexuality is wrong, why are there examples of people born with both sex organs and others born with no sex organs? The “choice” for the person’s sexuality is often left for the parents to make. Sometimes the child makes a different decision when they are older. In fact, many people are born with an extra “y” or “x” chromosome, and yet they are physically male or female.

Why do channels like the history channel say that the Christian idea of “hell” and the devil was something man fabricated hundreds of years after the time of Jesus? Are we learning about heaven and hell at our church at a grade school level, or am I missing something?

If the bible says it is against homosexual activity, and we take that literally, why don’t we take it literally when the bible tells rich people to sell all of their stuff and that it is nearly impossible for them to get into heaven? Why aren’t the statements against homosexuality considered just as “context dependent” as the statements against the rich?
